Oct. 5, 2017, with guests Mickey Zessima, Ava Bird, Azzurra Crispino, Rachel Finley, Philip Farruggio, Frank Cordaro

In tonight’s show we heard from Philip Farruggio explaining to us all how it is the military budget that is the root of the problems we face, Frank Cordaro at the Des Moines Catholic Worker and almost, almost running out of toilet paper, Azzurra Crispino filling us in on the dire straits faced by American prisoners, Ava Bird with some beautiful original poetry, Rachel Finley with a brand new poem describing the point of view of the bullet, Mickey Z in Queens relating an update on his work with homeless women in New York City and some past interviews with Barry Crimmins, Ben Heine and Matt Sullivan.
Enjoy.
