Anthony is a monthly columnist, appearing in the third week of each month.

Anthony Rayson is an American anarchist activist and author. He runs the South Chicago ABC Zine Distro and publishes many zines and pamphlets. DePaul University Archives and Special Collections holds a collection of Rayson’s zines, as well as his compiled political writings and works of incarcerated persons.

Anthony tirelessly communicates with prisoners all over the USA and publishes their writings.

Biographical/Historical Note:
Anthony Rayson (b. 1954) is a self-described anarchist, who authors the zine, Thought Bombs, contributes to numerous other zines, enables incarcerated persons to publish and create zines, and operates South Chicago ABC Zine Distro, a distribution network for zines to both individuals and to prisons. In addition, Rayson is a political activist in the Chicago community and beyond.

Scope and Content Note:
This collection consists of Anthony Rayson’s personal zines, prisoners’ writings, interview recordings and transcripts, anarchist writings on feminist, punk, queer and anti-racist subjects.
